DENVER — An Aurora police force sergeant happens to be creating headlines after composing correspondence asking the planners of Denver PrideFest to reconsider their decision to exclude the law from this spring’s functions.
“exactly like anybody whos willing to bring about changes, which is certainly what I’m trying to manage, you’ve got to do it outwardly,” Sgt. Bill Hummel stated. “It really decided we were using a step back.”
In e-mail, that was first released with the Sentinel, Hummel composes about their earlier struggles as both a homosexual guy and a gay law enforcement officer.
